Thomas focuses primarily on corporate law, corporate finance and EU law and advises major clients both in Greece and Cyprus.
Apart from his academic appointment at European University Cyprus, Thomas is Adjunct Professor of Law at the International Hellenic University in Thessaloniki, Greece and at the Open University of Cyprus in Nicosia, Cyprus. Previously, he was a Visiting Researcher at Harvard Law School and has also taught at the University of Buckingham in the UK, at the University of Central Greece, at the University of Piraeus and at the University of Oxford. Thomas is the current holder of the ‘Cyprus Research Award – Young Researcher’ for his research on takeovers and mergers under EU and Cypriot corporate law.
Thomas holds an LL.B. from the Thessaloniki Law School (ranked 1st), a MJur./LL.M., a MPhil and DPhil in Law from University of Oxford.
